I started out as a part-time employee teaching painting.  I loved it and wanted more. When I was offered the full-time teaching position, I leaped at the chance to teach more and didn’t look back.

I love to see the kids understand that scripture can be applied to real life and understand His word is important for growth.  Academically and Spiritually growing with the children is  a super-bonus for me.

John 13:5  - "Then He poured water into the basin and began washing the disciples’ feet and wiping them with the towel which was tied around His waist."

The Children today need His teachings and we are giving these children life lessons on how to present themselves to others.  It says a lot about a persons character when they shake hands confidently, use good manners, speak clearly, dress appropriately and have self-respect.  I help wherever I’m needed here at Star Christian Academy and I love it and I love the children.

What we’re instilling in these children will last a lifetime.  Todays children are lacking in many areas and I feel with our smaller class sizes, we are able to fill that void and that need that so many children have.  The world of tomorrow will be a better place one child at a time.  I truly believe that.

Psalm 46:1 – “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
